Anna Sussarova

Lawyer at the French-speaking bar of Brussels with more than 10 years of experience.

Practices international arbitration in English, French and Russian.

Anna Sussarova practices international arbitration, both ad hoc and institutional. She has extensive experience in commercial law, contract law, corporate litigation, construction, immigration, economic crime and computer law. She specializes in private international law.

 

Anna Sussarova obtained her law degree with Magna cum laude from the Catholic University of Leuven in 2008 and was sworn in at the Brussels Bar the same year. She also studied in the United Kingdom, at Queen's University Belfast, to improve her language skills and to learn the British legal system. 

 

Anna Sussarova also studied international arbitration at the University of Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines and practices international arbitration in French, Russian and English.

 

Anna has worked in various law firms, while developing her own practice. 

 

Anna is a Belgian-Russian native of Kazakhstan where she lived and did part of her studies.

 

She has an international profile and specializes in private international law and international arbitration.

 

She uses her language skills (French, Russian and English) and her knowledge of Slavic, Kazakh, Belgian and French culture to offer European clients legal support in the countries of the former USSR. Conversely, she assists companies from Eastern Europe in their European projects.

 

Anna Sussarova is Honorary Consul of Kazakhstan in Belgium and is committed to the development of bilateral relations between Belgium and Kazakhstan.
