Construction companies established in Flanders no longer have to have a professional diploma

The requirement of a construction diploma for the establishment of a construction company in Flanders no longer applies since January 1, 2019. In other words, anyone can start their own construction company without having to justify any professional competence.

In Brussels and Wallonia, the rules relating to access to the construction profession remain applicable.
